Lenora Lerrer Rosenfield

Atualmente é professora associada aposentada da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Lenora tem pintado nos últimos 20 anos com um procedimento criado por ela, o afresco sintético, realizado com materiais nacionais usados na construção civil, que é uma das suas pesquisas. Atualmente pesquisa mapas e seu DNA. Aos 18 anos, através de um intercâmbio, foi estudar pintura na New School for Social Research (Nova York, EUA). Na década de 80 morou em Florença (IT) onde cursou restauração. Na década seguinte, foi bolsista da Harvard University, onde pesquisou restauro e materiais de pintura. Mais tarde, concluiu Mestrado em Poéticas Visuais na UFRGS e Doutorado sanduíche na ECA - USP e New York University, com bolsa da Fullbright. Pós-doutora pela Università degli Studi di Udine (IT), Foi professora de pintura do Instituto de Artes da UFRGS (1993 a 2017) e por mais de duas décadas esteve à frente do laboratório de restauração da instituição. Tem experiência na área de Artes Visuais, com ênfase em pintura, restauração, afresco-colagem, afresco, sintético, materiais, cores, olhar a obra de arte. Realizou exposições no Brasil e exterior.

Later, she completed a Masters in Visual Poetics at UFRGS and a sandwich Doctorate at ECA - USP and New York University, with a Fulbright scholarship. Post-doctorate from the Università degli Studi di Udine (IT), she was a professor of painting at the Art Institute of UFRGS (1993 to 2017) and for more than two decades was in charge of the institution's restoration laboratory. She has experience in the Visual Arts, with an emphasis on painting, restoration, fresco-collage, fresco, synthetic, materials, colors, looking at art works. .She held exhibitions in Brazil and abroad.
