Luciana Diniz Silva

Possui graduação em medicina pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1995), residência médica em Clínica médica pelo Hospital Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Belo Horizonte (1997) e em Gastroenterologia pelo Hospital Governador Israel Pinheiro-IPSEMG (1999), mestrado e doutorado em Medicina (Gastroenterologia) pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2002 e 2006, respectivamente), possui Diploma de Medicina revalidado na Itália pela Universitá Degli Studi Di Catania (2002). Especialização em Terapia Nutricional pelo Ganep Nutrição Humana, GANEP, Brasil (Carga Horária: 420h). Especialização em Nutrologia, Universidade de São Paulo (USP) (2020-2022 - 1352h). Atualmente, é professora associada do Departamento de Clínica Médica da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e desenvolve atividades na graduação e pós-graduação. Docente permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Aplicadas à Saúde do Adulto - Faculdade de Medicina - UFMG. Coordena os grupos de pesquisa: (1) Grupo Interdisciplinar e Interprofissional em Nutrição Clínica e Metabolismo - Nutriclim (líder; dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/6049980064582555) e (2) MeTsarte: Transdisciplinaridade - elo entre história, medicina, saúde, tecnologia e arte (dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/2278992629757614). Atua em pesquisa, principalmente nos seguintes temas: sarcopenia, hepatites virais, resposta imunológica do hospedeiro e qualidade de vida. É membro da Associação Brasileira de Educação Médica, da Federação Brasileira de Gastroenterologia, da European Society of Clinical nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN), Membership of International Academy of Nutrition educators (IANE) - NNEdPro, Cambridge, da European Association for the History of Medicine and Health, da American Association for the History of Medicine.

She earned a degree in medicine (MD) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995), a medical residency in Internal Medicine at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Hospital in Belo Horizonte (1997) and in Gastroenterology at the Governador Israel Pinheiro Hospital-IPSEMG (1999), master's and doctorate in Medicine ( Gastroenterology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2002 and 2006, respectively). She is currently an associate professor at the Department of Internal Medicine at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - Faculty of Medicine, and she develops activities at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program in Sciences Applied to Adult Health - Faculty of Medicine - UFMG. Coordinates the research group: Interdisciplinary and Interprofessional Group in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism - Nutriclim (leader; dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/6049980064582555). She has experience in Medicine, focusing on Internal Medicine and acting on the following subjects: sarcopenia, viral hepatitis, host immune response and quality of life. She is a member of the Brazilian Society of Hepatology (full member), the Brazilian Federation of Gastroenterology, the Brazilian Association of Medical Education, the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN), Membership of the International Academy of Nutrition Educators (IANE) - NNEdPro, Cambridge, The European Association for the History of Medicine and Health, The American Association for the History of Medicine.
