Agnaldo José da Rocha Reis

He is Graduated in Electrical Engineering (Electric Power Systems) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (1996), Master's in Electrical Engineering from the Federal School of Engineering of Itajubá (1999), DSc in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Itajubá (2003) and postdoctoral fellow in Eng. Electrical from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2014-2015). He is currently Associate Professor IV of the Dept. of Control Engineering and Automation at the School of Mines of the Federal University of Ouro Preto and was President of the Collegiate of the Graduate Program in Instrumentation, Control and Automation of Mining Processes - PROFICAM (UFOP/Vale Agreement) (2019/2021) . He served as Vice-President of the Brazilian Society for Computational Intelligence (2009-2011).

Possui Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica (Sist. Elétricos de Potência) pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (1996), Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Escola Federal de Engenharia de Itajubá (1999), Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Itajubá (2003) e Pós-Doutorado em Eng. Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2014-2015). Atualmente é Professor Associado IV do Depto. de Engenharia de Controle e Automação da Escola de Minas da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto e foi Coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Instrumentação, Controle e Automação de Processos de Mineração - PROFICAM (Convênio UFOP/ITV-Vale) (2019/2021). Foi também Vice-Presidente da Sociedade Brasileira de Inteligência Computacional (2009-2011).
