Associate Professor at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Platform in Informatics and Artificial Intelligence (IIA) at the Center for Intelligence in Emerging and Neglected Tropical Diseases (CIATEN), and coordinator of the institutional development project "Rede Poti". Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2009), Master's degree in Applied Informatics from the University of Fortaleza (2003), and Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the same institution (1999). Engaged in research and development in the field of Computer Science, with a focus on Knowledge Management and Artificial Intelligence, primarily working on the following topics: machine learning and computational systems applied to healthcare.

Doutor em Engenharia Elétrica e de Computação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (2009), mestre em Informática Aplicada pela Universidade de Fortaleza (2003) e graduado em Informática pela mesma instituição (1999). Atua em pesquisas e desenvolvimento na área de Ciência da Computação, com ênfase em Gestão do Conhecimento e Inteligência Artificial, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: aprendizagem de máquina e sistemas computacionais aplicados a saúde.
