Doutor em História das Religiões pela Università degli Studi, Bolonha, Itália (1998). Professor Adjunto I da Universidade Católica de Pernambuco. Membro do Comitê Científico de Pesquisa, CCP (desde 2014), desenvolvendo os seguintes projetos de pesquisa em equipe, AS NARRATIVAS DO SAGRADO, suas comunidades, seus agentes, seus espaços e suas celebrações, na história da sociedade brasileira da época republicana e TRANSDICIPLINARIEDADE, COMPLEXIDADE, IMAGINÁRIO E DECOLONIALIDADE NO ENSINO RELIGIOSO. Vice-líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Estudos Transdisciplinares em História Social, da UNICAP e membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Videlicet - Estudos em Religiões, Intolerância e Imaginário, da UFPB. Desenvolve, também, com o Prof. Dr. Riccardo Burigana, de Firenze, os projetos A HERANÇA DA REFORMA: Ler e reler a Reforma, passados 500 anos de seu início e THE SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL IN INTERCONTINENTAL AND INTERCULTURAL PERSPECTIVES: orientation and motivation for 21st century theologies. Member of the Scientific Research Committee, CCP (since 2014), developing the following team research projects, NARRATIVES OF THE SACRED, its communities, its agents, its spaces and its celebrations, in the history of Brazilian society of the Republican era and TRANSDICIPLINARITY, COMPLEXITY, IMAGINARY AND DECOLONIALITY IN RELIGIOUS TEACHING. Vice-leader of the Research Group Transdisciplinary Studies in Social History, at UNICAP and member of the Research Group Videlicet - Studies in Religions, Intolerance and Imaginary, at UFPB. He also develops, with Prof. Dr. Riccardo Burigana, of Firenze, the projects THE HERITAGE OF THE REFORMATION: Reading and rereading the Reformation, 500 years after its beginning and THE SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL IN INTERCONTINENTAL AND INTERCULTURAL PERSPECTIVES: orientation and motivation for 21st century theologies.
