Alexandre Somavilla

Atualmente sou pesquisador colaborador (sem vínculo empregatício) do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (INPA), credenciado no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Entomologia e membro do Comitê do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica PIBIC/PAIC/INPA, Ciências Biológicas, Subárea Zoologia I. Tenho Doutorado em Ciências Biológicas, área de concentração em Entomologia, pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (INPA) (2016), com período de Doutorado Sanduíche pelo American Museum of Natural History (New York, USA) (agosto 2015-fevereiro 2016 - Programa de Doutorado Sanduíche no Exterior da CAPES); tenho mestrado em Ciências Biológicas, área de concentração em Entomologia, pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (INPA) (2012) e sou biólogo formado pela Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC) (2009). Tenho experiência na área de Zoologia / Entomologia, com ênfase em taxonomia de grupos recentes, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: diversidade de vespas da Amazônia, Taxonomia e Sistemática de vespas, utilizando dados morfológicos e moleculares, Taxonomia integrativa.

Professor in the Program in Entomology at the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA). Post-doctorate in progress in Program for FIXAM - FAPEAM and member of the Institutional Program Committee for Scientific Initiation Scholarships PIBIC / PAIC / INPA, Biological Sciences, Subarea Zoologia II. PhD in Biological Sciences, area of concentration in Entomology, by the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA) (2016), with a PhD Sandwich by the American Museum of Natural History (New York, USA) (August 2015-February 2016) financed by the CAPES Sandwich Program Abroad; Master's degree in Biological Sciences, area of concentration in Entomology, by the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA) (2012) and biologist graduated from the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (2009). He has experience in the area of Zoology and Ecology, with emphasis on Entomology, where he has not worked with Diversity of Wasps of the Amazon and without PhD with Systematics of wasps, using morphological and molecular data.
