Fábio Gonçalves Jota

Engenheiro e Advogado. Possui graduação em Engenharia Eletrônica e de Telecomunicações pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (1978) e em Direito pelo Centro Universitário UNA (2020), Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1982), Doutorado em Engenharia de Controle pela "University of Oxford", Inglaterra (1987) e Pós-Doutorado em Engenharia de Controle pela "University of Newcastle", Austrália (1997). Professor Ttitular aposentado da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Tem experiência nas áreas de Engenharia Elétrica e Engenharia de Controle e Automação com ênfase em Controle de Processos, Controle e Instrumentação Inteligentes, Modelagem e Controle de Processos Industriais, Automação Predial e Eficiência Energética, com interesse nos seguintes temas: controle multivariável, sistemas de controle em redes (NCS), controle adaptativo robusto, avaliação de desempenho de malhas de controle, projeto e sintonia de controladores industriais e aspectos jurídicos da automação.

Graduated in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (1978) and in Law from Centro Universitário UNA (2020), Master in Electrical Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (1982), PhD in Control Engineering from "University of Oxford ", England (1987) and Post-Doctorate in Control Engineering by" University of Newcastle ", Australia (1997). Retired Full Professor from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in the areas of Electrical Engineering and Control and Automation Engineering with an emphasis on Process Control, Intelligent Control and Instrumentation, Modeling and Control of Industrial Processes, Building Automation and Energy Efficiency, with interest in the following topics: multivariable control, control systems in networks (NCS), robust adaptive control, performance evaluation of control loops, design and tuning of industrial controllers and legal aspects of automation.
