Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: agricultura familiar, assentamento, modernidade, intimidade, internet, autonomia relativa, economia solidária, políticas públicas e segurança alimentar. Atualmente, seus esforços de pesquisa e atividade acadêmica estão concentrados no doutoramento em Sociologia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Integrante pesquisadora do grupo LAE-RURAL (Laboratório de observação permanente sobre as transformações do mundo rural no Nordeste)

Currently, his research efforts and academic activity are concentrated in the PhD in Sociology by the Federal University of Pernambuco.
