Ernane Antônio Alves Coelho

Ernane Antônio Alves Coelho received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the M.S. degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, Brazil, and the Ph.D. degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 1987, 1989, and 2000, respectively. In 2014, he worked with the Microgrid Research Group, coordinated by Prof. Josep Guerrero, Aalborg University, Denmark, as a visiting professor. He is currently with the Power Electronics Research Group, Federal University of Uberlândia, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. His research interests are power factor correction, inverter parallel connection, frequency and voltage droop control, grid connected system, fuel cell power conditioning, PV systems and distributed control in microgrids.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1987), mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1989) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2000). Atuou como professor visitante junto ao Grupo de "Microgrids", coordenado pelo Prof. Josep Guerrero, no ano de 2014, Aalborg University, Dinamarca. Atualmente é professor titular da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em Eletrônica de Potência, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: power factor correction, inverter parallel connection, frequency and voltage droop control, grid connected system, fuel cell power conditioning, PV systems and distributed control in microgrids.
