Rafaela Peron Cardoso

Doctoral candidate in Physiotherapy at the Federal University of São Carlos, currently researching, at the Physiotherapeutic Resources Laboratory (LAREF - UFSCar), the effects of traditional Acupuncture and laser Acupuncture in individuals with chronic neck pain. Master in Gerontology from the Federal University of São Carlos, where she researched, at the Laboratory of Biology of Aging (LABEN ? UFSCar), the levels of ADAM10 protease in the cerebrospinal fluid and blood serum of individuals with Alzheimer's disease. Graduated in Physiotherapy (UNIAN-SP), with specialization in the areas of Psychosomatic Medicine (Brazilian Association of Regional Psychosomatic Medicine of São Paulo) and Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture (Hermínio Ometto University).

Doutoranda em Fisioterapia pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos, pesquisa atualmente, no Laboratório de Recursos Fisioterapêuticos (LAREF/UFSCar), os efeitos da Acupuntura tradicional e Acupuntura a laser em indivíduos com dor cervical crônica. Mestra em Gerontologia pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos, onde pesquisou, no Laboratório de Biologia do Envelhecimento (LABEN/UFSCar), os níveis da protease ADAM10 no líquido cefalorraquidiano e soro sanguíneo de indivíduos com doença de Alzheimer. Graduou-se em Fisioterapia (UNIAN-SP), Formação em andamento em Neuropsicanálise pela Faculdade de Minas. Possui especialização nas áreas de Medicina Psicossomática (Associação Brasileira de Medicina Psicossomática Regional de São Paulo) e Medicina Chinesa/Acupuntura (Universidade Hermínio Ometto).
