Flávio Gabriel Oliveira Barbosa

Flávio Gabriel Oliveira Barbosa studied Control and Automation Engineering at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP), in Ouro Preto, Brazil, from 2009 to 2014. He made his Master of Science (MSc) in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in the Automation and System Post-Graduate Program (PGEAS) in Florianópolis, Brazil. Currently, he occupies a researcher position at SENAI Institute of Embedded Systems, and his research interests are computer vision and image processing, machine learning, and optimization.

Possui graduação em Engenharia de Controle e Automação pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, mestrado e doutorado em Engenharia de Automação e Sistemas pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina com ênfase em visão computacional. Tem experiência nas áreas de visão computacional e inteligência artificial. Atualmente, é pesquisador no Instituto SENAI de Inovação em Sistemas Embarcados, onde atua como líder da área de Visão Computacional e Líder Técnico de projetos.
