Gabriel Santos Rosalem

Graduated at Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri, UFVJM, and a master's degree at Structural Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, UFMG. PhD student in the post-graduate program at Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerias. In the PhD project, in partnership with the René Rachou Institute - Fiocruz Minas, research on microfluidics and cellular behavior in microenvironments of the human body. Associated with the Biomechanics and Bioengineering Group at UFVJM, the Biomechanical Engineering Group at UFMG and the Group of Biosystems and Genomics at Institute René Rachou, has interest in the areas of Mecanobiology, Microfluidics/Organ-on-a-Chip and Computational Modeling.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, UFVJM, e mestrado em Engenharia de Estrutura pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, UFMG e doutorado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerias. Atualmente está pós-doutor do Instituto René Rachou - Fiocruz Minas, realizando pesquisas no campo da microfluídica e engenharia de tecidos experimental e computacional, com ênfase na biomimetização de órgãos em tecidos humanos em plataformas organ-on-a-chip. Está associado ao Gupo de Biomecânica e Bioengenharia da UFVJM e ao Grupo de Engenharia Biomecânica da UFMG.
