Abel Táiti Konno Pinheiro

Website: https://researchmap.jp/abeltkp?lang=en He holds bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Ceará (2007), master's degree in architecture from Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering (2011) and PhD in architecture from Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering (2014) in Kobe, Hyogo, Japan. Through the Laboratory of Housing and Urban Environment Studies (LEHAU-DAU-UFC) and the Laboratory of Urban and Regional Planning (LAPUR-DG-UFC), he collaborated to the research activities of the research network Observatory of Metropolis (National Institute of Science and Technology, Brazil) until 2008. He was a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship student, developing research activities on natural disaster prevention at Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering. He was an assistant professor at Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering Dept. of Architecture from 2015 to 2020 and chief researcher at the Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution (DRI) in Kobe, Hyogo, Japan (2020-2023). He is currently working as researcher at Kobe University Graduate Schook of Engineering and Center for Resilient Design (CResD), and research fellow at Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution (DRI) in Kobe, Hyogo Japan (since 2023). He has experience in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction, with focus on disaster information system, evacuation of vulnerable people, tsunami evacuation, use of drones for disaster response, STEAM Edu.

Foi bolsista do Ministério da Educação, Cultura, Esporte, Ciência e Tecnologia do Governo do Japão (MEXT), desenvolvendo atividades de pesquisa sobre prevenção de desastres naturais no Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering. Foi professor adjunto da Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering Dept. of Architecture entre 2015 e 2020 e pesquisador chefe no Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution (DRI) em Kobe, Hyogo Japão. Atualmente atua como pesquisador do Kobe University Graduate Schook of Engineering e Center for Resilient Design, e research fellow do Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution (DRI) em Kobe, Hyogo Japão (desde 2023). Tem experiência na área de Redução de Riscos de Desastres, com infoque em sistema de informações sobre desastres, evacuação de pessoas vulneráveis, evacuação contra tsunami, utilização de drones para resposta a desastres, STEAM Edu.
