Maximiliano Michelli

graduated in Biology at the University of Caxias do Sul (1998) with emphasis in preservation areas and environmental evaluations. Specialization as well as Master in Oceanography with emphasis in marine geophysics at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2002). PhD thesis in Natural Sciences at the Christian-Albrecht-University of Kiel (2008). Scientific interests are in the fields of oceanography, paleoceanography and marine geophysics of coastal areas in the following subjects: carbon`s cycles (biogeochemistry), geographical features and sedimentary deposits on the continental shelf, sea-level fluctuations linked to coastal evolution and description of ancient s costal geomorphological sceneries.
