Psicólogo formado pela Instituto de Psicologia da Universidade de São Paulo (2011) especialista em Terapia Cognitivo Comportamental pelo Centro de Terapia Cognitiva VEDA (2014), especialista em Sexologia pela Faculdade de Medicina da USP (2016), Terapeuta sexual pela Faculdade de Medicina da USP (2017) e especialista em Hipnose e outros estados alterados de consciência pela Faculdade Paulista de Ciências da Saúde (2020).
Possui também graduação em Física pela Universidade de São Paulo (1989), Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1994) tendo realizado pesquisas para o mestrado na Fachhochschule Karlsruhe, Alemanha, no ano de 1992 onde desenvolveu projetos ligados à aplicação de inteligencia artificial à mobilidade de manipuladores robóticos e Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1999) tendo realizado pesquisas em nível de Doutorado nos anos de 1996 e 1997 no Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montreal e na University of Ottawa, ambos no Canadá, onde desenvolveu pesquisa nas áreas de inteligência artificial e aprendizagem de máquina aplicadas à engenharia de software.
Atualmente atua como como sexólogo e como psicologo clínico na abordagem da Terapia Cognitiva Beckiana. Seus interesses se concentram nas aplicações clínicas da Terapia Cognitivo Comportamental e da Hipnoterapia à terapia das disfunções sexuais, nos estudos sobre o fetichismo e a sexualidade alternativa, na psicologia evolucionista, e nas questões ligadas a construção da identidade na sua relação com a sexualidade.
Psychologist graduated from the Institute of Psychology of the University of São Paulo (2011), specialist in Cognitive Behavior Therapy from the VEDA Cognitive Therapy Center (2014), specialist in Sexology from the USP Medical School (2016), Sex therapist from the USP Medical School (2017) and specialist in Hypnosis and other altered states of consciousness by the Faculdade Paulista de Ciências da Saúde (2020).
He also graduated in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1989), Master in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1994) having carried out research for his master's degree at Fachhochschule Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1992, where he developed projects related to the application of intelligence artificial to the mobility of robotic manipulators and a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1999) having carried out research at the Doctoral level in 1996 and 1997 at the Center de Recherche Informatique in Montreal and at the University of Ottawa, both in Canada, where developed research in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to software engineering.
Currently works as a sexologist and as a clinical psychologist in the approach of Beckian Cognitive Therapy. His interests are focused on the clinical applications of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Hypnotherapy to the therapy of sexual dysfunctions, on studies on fetishism and alternative sexuality, on evolutionary psychology, and on issues related to the construction of identity in its relationship with sexuality.
