Rafael de Assis

Graduado em Ciências Biológicas Licenciatura Plena pela Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste (2016). Mestre (2019) e Doutor (2023) em Genética e Biologia Molecular pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL), com período sanduíche no Institute de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD, Montpellier-França) financiado pelo Programa PDSE/Capes. Tem experiência na área de Genética Molecular Vegetal, Citogenética Molecular Vegetal e Bioinformática. Atuando principalmente na caracterização, anotação e localização de elementos de transposição, sequências repetitivas, genômica e metagenômica de microrganismos.

Graduated in Biological Sciences Full Degree from the State University of the Midwest (2016). Master (2019) and PhD (2023) in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the State University of Londrina (UEL), with a internship period at the Institute de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD, Montpellier-France) sponsored by the PDSE / Capes Program. Has experience in Plant Molecular Genetics, Plant Molecular Cytogenetics and Bioinformatics. Working mainly in the characterization, annotation and localization of transposable elements, repetitive sequences, genomics and metagenomics of microorganisms.
