Gustavo Souza Santos

Ph.D. in Ecology and Conservation from the Federal University of Paraná - Brazil. I am part of Environmental Safety LATAM team as part of global operations of Syngenta´s Product Safety. I have experience in assessing the risks of chemical agents to aquatic organisms and human health. I have been working with environmental safety for the last ten years, focusing in risk assessment (aquatic and terrestrial), Efate modelling tools, soil/water dynamics, biomonitoring, and aquatic toxicology. I am a member on the Scientific Committee of SETAC Latin America, and recently become a member on the technical group for aquatic risk assessment of the Crop Life Latin America
