Miguel Alfonso Calderón Ibarra

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (2012), a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2017) and a Doctorate degree in Civil Engineering (2022) from the same institution. He is currently a Researcher at Laboratory of Analysis and Reliability of Offshore Structures (LACEO / COPPE / UFRJ - COPPETEC Foundation), working on research projects related to analysis and design of slender marine structures: mooring lines, rigid risers and flexible risers. He worked in the private construction sector from 2012 to 2015.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes (2012), Mestrado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2017) e Doutorado em Engenharia Civil (2022) pela mesma instituição. Atualmente é Pesquisador no Laboratório de Análise e Confiabilidade de Estruturas Offshore (LACEO / COPPE / UFRJ - Fundação COPPETEC), atuando em projetos de pesquisa relacionados à análise e projeto de estruturas marítimas esbeltas: linhas de ancoragem, risers rígidos e risers flexíveis. Atuou no setor privado da construção civil de 2012 a 2015.
