Degree in Communication and Culture from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (ECO \ UFRJ) and post-graduate degree in Teaching in Higher Education from AVM / Cândido Mendes University (UCAM). She has a specialization course in Human Rights Management (UCAM) and degree in Social Communication - Journalism from Faculdade da Cidade.Published the following articles: "Black feminism and its practices - some implications for the construction of the symbolic world"; "Black feminism and its practices in the field of culture" and "Brief reflection on Pelé and the Negro in Brazilian football". Author of the biography: "Pelé, black star in green fields". Acted as a teacher on the History of the Negro in Football and on the Black Press in the postgraduate course in History of Africa and the Negro in Brazil, at Cândido Mendes University. Acted on the team of specialists for the training of public school teachers in the Project The Color of Culture / Roberto Marinho Foundation. Acted as a consultant for UN Women. Developed the Pedagogical Plans of the Course on Gender, Race and Ethnicity for Journalists and the Course on Communication, Health and Women's Rights for Journalists. Author of the "Guide for Journalists on Gender, Race and Ethnicity" and the "Guide on Communication, Health and Women's Rights". General coordinator of the National Journalist Prize Abdias Nascimento. Fellow of the International Scholarship Program of the Ford Foundation. Immersed in English at Spring International Language Center, Arkansas University, USA. Has fluency in English and basic knowledge in French and Spanish. Currently, she is the communication coordinator of the Brazilian Interdisciplinary Aids Association (ABIA). Interested in the areas: sociology of communication, journalism, social movements, gender and identities.

É mestre em Comunicação e Cultura pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (ECO\UFRJ), pós graduada em Docência no Ensino Superior pela AVM/Universidade Cândido Mendes (UCAM) e em Gestão de Direitos Humanos (UCAM). É graduada em Comunicação Social - Jornalismo pela Faculdade da Cidade. Publicou os artigos: "Feminismo negro e suas práticas - algumas implicações na construção do mundo simbólico"; "Feminismo negro e suas práticas no campo da cultura" e "Breve reflexão sobre Pelé e o negro no futebol brasileiro". É autora do livro: "Pelé, estrela negra em campos verdes". Atuou como professora em curso de pós-graduação na UCAM. Atuou na equipe para a formação de professores no Projeto A Cor da Cultura/Fundação Roberto Marinho. Atuou como consultora da ONU Mulheres. Desenvolveu os Planos Pedagógicos do Curso sobre Gênero, Raça e Etnia para Jornalistas e sobre Comunicação, Saúde e Direitos das Mulheres. Foi coordenadora geral do Prêmio Nacional Jornalista Abdias Nascimento. Foi fellow do Programa Internacional de Bolsas da Fundação Ford. Tem fluência em inglês e lê francês e espanhol. É coordenadora de comunicação da Associação Brasileira Interdisciplinar de Aids (ABIA). Interesse em sociologia da comunicação, jornalismo, movimentos sociais, gênero e identidades.
