Helio Alvarenga Nunes

Artist-researcher. Hélio Alvarenga Nunes is a doctoral student at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), studying Arts at Belas Artes School (EBA). He holds a master's degree in Arts from EBA-UFMG (2009) and a bachelor's degree in Painting from the same institution (2005). He researches questions related to the archive of arts and to the institutional critics. He works with painting, photograph, digital art and appropriation. He has experience as teacher in the History of Art and Critics fields.

É artista-pesquisador, doutorando em Artes na Escola de Belas Artes (EBA) da UFMG, mestre em Artes pela EBA-UFMG (2009) e graduado em Artes Visuais, com habilitação em pintura, pela mesma instituição (2005). Investiga questões relacionadas ao arquivamento da arte e à crítica institucional. Trabalha com pintura, fotografia, arte digital e apropriações. Tem experiência como docente nas áreas de História da Arte e Crítica.
