Renê Donizeti Ribeiro de Oliveira

I have a degree in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (2000), a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (2009) and a postdoctoral degree from the University of Glasgow (2013). I'm graduating in Data Science from the Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (UNIVESP). I am currently an assistant physician at the Discipline of Rheumatology at HCRP-FMRP-USP and at the Rehabilitation Center at HCRP-FMRP-USP at the University of São Paulo, an activity I dedicate myself to full-time. Since 2009 I have contributed to the training of new professionals - either by teaching medicine and physiotherapy students, residents in internal medicine and rheumatology, or by training new researchers, such as scientific initiation, master's and doctoral students. As a scientific initiation advisor, I completed the supervision of 5 students and currently supervise 1 student. As a preceptor of the medical residency in Rheumatology at the HCRP at FMRP-USP, I contributed to the training of 60 residents. As a postgraduate advisor, I completed the guidance of 5 students and currently advise 9 regular, master's (professional and academic) and doctoral students. My lines of research are: HLA, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, cDNA microarrays, gene expression by RT-PCR and microRNAs, NETs (Neutrophil extracellular traps) in autoimmune diseases, inflammation in 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) ), and medical education in Rheumatology.

Sou graduado em Medicina pela Universidade de São Paulo (2000), Doutorado em Medicina pela Universidade de São Paulo (2009) e pós-doutorado pela Universidade de Glasgow (2013). Sou graduando em Ciência de Dados pela Universidade Virtual do Estado de São Paulo (UNIVESP). Atualmente sou médico assistente da Disciplina de Reumatologia do HCRP-FMRP-USP e do Centro de Reabilitação do HCRP-FMRP-USP Universidade de São Paulo, atividade a que me dedico em tempo integral. Desde 2009 contribuo para formação de novos profissionais - seja no ensino de alunos de medicina e fisioterapia, de residentes em clínica médica e em reumatologia, seja na formação de novos pesquisadores, como alunos de iniciação científica, mestrado e doutorado. Como orientador de iniciação científica, concluí a supervisão de 5 alunos e supervisiono, atualmente, 1 aluna. Como preceptor da residência médica em Reumatologia do HCRP da FMRP-USP, contribuí para a formação de 60 residentes. Como orientador de pós-graduação, concluí a orientação de 5 alunos e oriento, atualmente, 9 alunos regulares, de mestrado (profissional e acadêmico) e doutorado. Minhas linhas de pesquisa são: HLA, artrite reumatoide, lúpus eritematoso sistêmico, microarrays de cDNA, expressão gênica por RT-PCR e microRNAs, NETs (Neutrophil extracellular traps) em doenças autoimunes, inflamação na doença pelo novo coronavírus de 2019 (COVID-19) e educação médica em Reumatologia.
