Rosana de Oliveira Gomes

Bacharel (2009), Mestra em Astrofísica (2011) e Doutora em Astrofísica (2016) pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Estagiária de doutorado-sanduíche no Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS) em 2014, sob a orientação do Prof. Dr. Stefan Schramm. Foi pós-doutoranda no Departamento de Astronomia e Astrofísica da UFRGS sob supervisão do Dr. S. O. Kepler (2016-2017), pesquisadora visitante na Kent State University (KSU) trabalhando no grupo da Dra. Veronica Dexheimer (2017), e pós-doutoranda no Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS), sob supervisão do Prof. Dr. Stefan Schramm (2017-2019) e Prof. Dr. Horst Stoecker (2019). Possui experiência com pesquisa nas áreas estrelas compactas, energias renováveis e inteligencia artificial. Atualmente é Cientista de Dados Senior no setor privado.

Sandwich PhD intern at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS) in 2014, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Stefan Schramm. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at UFRGS under the supervision of Dr. S. O. Kepler (2016-2017), visiting researcher at Kent State University (KSU) working in the group of Dr. Veronica Dexheimer (2017), and postdoctoral fellow at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stefan Schramm (2017-2019) and Prof. Dr. Horst Stoecker (2019). She has experience with research in the areas of compact stars, renewable energies and artificial intelligence. She is currently a Senior Data Scientist in the private sector.
