CESAR DAS NEVES

Graduado em Engenharia Elétrica com especialização em Engenharia Econômica pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1967); mestrado em Engenharia de Produção, na área de Pesquisa Operacional pela COPPE/Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1970) e; com doutorado em Economics - University of York (1981). Prof Adjunto da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, no Departamento de Métodos Quantitativos da Faculdade de Ciências Econômicas (FCE/UERJ) de 2003 a 2014. Professor Titular do Departamento de Engenharia Industrial da Escola Politécnica da UFRJ (DEI/POLI/UFRJ), setor de engenharia econômica, de 1970 a 2003, tendo, neste período, participado também a nível de pós-graduação - mestrado e doutorado - dos Programas de Engenharia da Produção (PEP) e Engenharia de Transportes (PET) da COPPE/UFRJ. Tem desenvolvido atividades acadêmicas de docência e pesquisa pela UFRJ - como colaborador do DEI, participando em cursos de especialização lato-senso e em bancas examinadoras. Tem atuado em projetos de consultoria através da Fundação COPPETEC na área de engenharia econômica, finanças e na aplicação de métodos quantitativos, com projetos desenvolvidos para inúmeras empresas do setor privado e público entre as quais VALE, PETROBRÁS, FURNAS, PROMON, ENGEVIX, FIOCRUZ e outras. Tem livros e artigos publicados em Engenharia Econômica, Transporte Aéreo, Projetos Industriais, Finanças e Econometria.

Graduated in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Engineering Economy at the Federal University of Rio De Janeiro (1967); M.Sc. in Production Engineering, Operational Research area, at COPPE/UFRJ (1970) and D.Phil in Economics - University of York (1981). Professor (Adjunto) of the State University of Rio De Janeiro, in the Department of Quantitative Methods, Economic Sciences College (FCE/UERJ) from 2003 to 2014. Full Professor (Titular) of the Industrial Engineering Department of the Polytechnic School of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (DEI/POLI/UFRJ), sector of engineering economy, from 1970 to 2003, having, in this period, also participated in post graduation courses - M.Sc. and P.HD. in the Production Engineering Program (PEP) and Transportation Engineering Program (PET) both in COPPE/UFRJ. He does several academics activities, lecturing and doing researches in UFRJ, collaborating with DEI in courses, lecturing in specializations courses (MBA in Planning Engineering of the Production Engineering Program (PEP) and also in the Specialization Course of Public Transport Management at the Corporative University of Transport of the Transportation Engineering Program (PET), and participating in boards for public selection of professors. He develops consulting projects through COPPETEC Foundation in the area of engineering economic, finance and in the application of quantitative methods, with projects done for innumerable companies from the private and the public sector between which: VALE, PETROBRAS, FURNAS, PROMON, ENGEVIX, FIOCRUZ and others. He published several books and articles in Engineering Economic, Air transportation, Industrial Projects, Finances and Econometrics.
