Conservadora-Restauradora especialista do CECOR- Centro de Conservação e Restauração de Bens Culturais da Escola de Belas Artes da UFMG (1995-corrente), possui Mestrado em Artes Visuais: Tecnologia da Imagem pela UFMG (2003), Especialização em Conservação e Restauração de Bens Culturais Móveis pelo Centro de Conservação e Restauração de Bens Culturais Móveis (CECOR)-Escola de Belas Artes/UFMG (1992). Realizou aperfeiçoamento profissional no IPCE (Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España (Madrid-Espanha, 1998) e no Departamento de Conservación del Museo Nacional Centro de Artes Reina Sofia (Madrid-Espanha, 1998). Graduada em Artes Plásticas pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (1989). Atuação no Laboratório de Conservação e Restauração de Pinturas e Esculturas do CECOR-EBA/UFMG, desde 1995, com obras do Patrimônio Artístico Nacional, de Instituições Públicas e Privadas e colecionadores, orientação de bolsistas e restauradores atuantes no Laboratório do CECOR, coordenação de projetos na área de preservação do patrimônio, executa laudos técnicos de obras de arte (materiais, técnicas, estado de conservação), realiza inventários de bens móveis e integrados e educação patrimonial. Possui livros e artigos publicados. É pesquisadora independente na área de Preservação e Memória.
