Márcia Martins marques

Graduada em Odontologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (FOUSP, 1980). Realizou Mestrado no Programa de Diagnóstico Bucal (1989) e Doutorado no Programa de Patologia Bucal (1993) ambos da FOUSP. Cursou estágio de pesquisa com bolsa Sanduíche da Capes (1991-1993) e depois Pós-Doutorado no National Institutes of Health, NIH (1993-1994) nos Estados Unidos com bolsa da Fogarty Foundation. Fez Livre-Docência em Patologia Bucal na FOUSP (2001). Desde 2011 é Professora Titular da FOUSP. Foi coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Odontologia/ Dentística da FOUSP e Presidente da Comissão de Pós-Graduação da FOUSP. Desde 2012 é professora convidada do Programa de Pós-Graduação Lasers in Dentistry da RWTH Aachen University na Alemanha, onde orienta alunos e ministra a disciplina Low Level Laser Therapy.. Coordenou o primeiro Doutorado Internacional (Dinter) do Brasil aprovado pela Capes entre a FOUSP e a Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade Central do Equador (2016-2018). Desde 2019 é professora da Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade Ibirapuera (UNIB) onde coordena o Programa de Pós-Graduação da UNIb. Pertence ao corpo editorial de revistas nacionais e internacionais e é editora associada da "Lasers in Dental Sciences", da "laser international magazine of laser dentistry" e da Revista de la Facultad de Odontologia de la Universidad Central del Ecuador. É parecerista de diversas revistas internacionais e de agências de fomento nacionais e de universidades internacionais. Vice-Presidente do Executive Board da International Society for Laser Dentistry (ISLD) e Presidente da Associação Brasileira de Laser na Odontologia e na Saúde (ABLOS). Atualmente é membro do Comitê de Avaliação da área de Odontologia da Capes. Tem experiência na área de Odontologia, com ênfase em terapia de fotobiomodulação. Tem atuado principalmente nos seguintes temas: efeitos biológicos do laser, em especial na regeneração tecidual utilizando células tronco de polpas dentárias humanas, e biocompatibilidade de materiais odontológicos, utilizando técnicas de pesquisa in vitro baseadas em cultivo celular e in vivo com animais de laboratório. Graduated in Dentistry from the University of São Paulo (FOUSP, 1980). She completed a Master's in the Oral Diagnosis Program (1989) and a PhD in the Oral Pathology Program (1993), both at FOUSP. She completed a research internship with a Capes Sandwich grant (1991-1993) and then a Post-Doctorate at the National Institutes of Health, NIH (1993-1994) in the United States with a grant from the Fogarty Foundation. Since 2011, she has been a Full Professor at FOUSP. She was coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Dentistry/Dentistry at FOUSP and President of the Postgraduate Committee at FOUSP. Since 2012, she has been a guest professor at the Graduate Program Lasers in Dentistry at RWTH Aachen University in Germany, where she guides students and teaches the subject Low Level Laser Therapy. She coordinated the first International Doctorate (Dinter) in Brazil approved by Capes between FOUSP and the Faculty of Dentistry of the Central University of Ecuador (2016-2018). Since 2019, she has been a professor at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Ibirapuera University (UNIB) where she coordinates the UNIb Graduate Program. She belongs to the editorial board of national and international journals and is associate editor of the "Lasers in Dental Sciences", "laser international magazine of laser dentistry" and the Revista de la Facultad de Odontologia de la Universidad Central del Ecuador. She is a reviewer for several international journals and national funding agencies and international universities. Vice-President of the Executive Board of the International Society for Laser Dentistry (ISLD) and President of the Brazilian Association of Laser in Dentistry and Health (ABLOS). She is currently a member of the Capes Dentistry Evaluation Committee. She has experience in Dentistry, with emphasis on photobiomodulation therapy. She has worked mainly on the following topics: biological effects of laser, especially in tissue regeneration using stem cells from human dental pulps, and biocompatibility of dental materials, using in vitro research techniques based on cell culture and in vivo with laboratory animals.
