Daniel Rangel Costa

Curador e agente cultural, Daniel Rangel é Mestre em Artes Visuais pela Escola de Comunicação e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA/USP), membro individual do IBA, International Biennial Association e pesquisador do Fórum Permanente ligado ao IEA/USP. Atualmente é curador chefe do Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia, curador do Prêmio Museu é Mundo, e sócio da N+1 Arte e Cultura. Foi Diretor Artístico do Instituto de Cultura Contemporânea - ICCo, de São Paulo, entre 2011 e 2016, Diretor Geral da Diretoria de Museus do Instituto do Patrimônio Artístico e Cultural da Bahia (DIMUS/IPAC), entre 2008 e 20011 e assessor de direção do Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia, entre 2007 e 2008. Desde 2005 vem realizado curadorias artísticas de exposições, festivais e mostras de artes em diferentes linguagens. Dentre os principais projetos realizados, destacam-se a curadoria das mostras "O Museu de Dona Lina" (2021/22); Transletras (2021); My Name is Ivald Granto (2019); REVER_Augusto de Campos, (2016); Ready Made in Brasil (2017), e de projetos curatoriais para 8ª Bienal de Curitiba, Brasil (2015), 16ª Bienal de Cerveira, Portugal,( 2013), e II Trienal de Luanda, Angola (2010)..Recebeu o prêmio APCA 2015, de Melhor Exposição de Artes Gráficas, com a mostra Palavra em Movimento de Arnaldo Antunes,. Autor do livro "Afonso Tostes: entre a cidade e a natureza." (Cobogó, 2019), e organizador das publicações "Ready Made in Brasil: a ressonância morfina duchampiana" (N+1/FIESP, 2018), "Luzescrita: poemas escritos com luz", (N/+1, 2017) e "Klaxon em Revista" (CosacNayfi/ICCo, 2012).
