Alexandre Ernesto Silva

He holds a bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Federal University of Alfenas (2000), a specialization in mental health from the UEMG, a specialization in Hospital Management from the FIJ / FGV, a Master's Degree in Education, Culture and Social Organizations. PhD in Nursing, in the line of Education and Nursing by the Federal University of Minas Gerais with sandwich at the Portuguese Catholic University - Lisbon / Portugal (Palliative Care). He is currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of São João Del Rei, professor of Nursing and Medicine. Member and volunteer researcher of the Study Group and Research in Palliative Care of the National School of Public Health of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ). Author of the book: Palliative care in primary health care. Member of the Portuguese Observatory in palliative care. It develops teaching, research and extension activities, working on the following topics: palliative care, humanization of health care, home care, communication in health, organization and management of health services.

Possui graduação em Enfermagem pela Universidade Federal de Alfenas (2000), especialização em saúde mental e Gestão Hospitalar , mestrado na temática dos cuidados paliativos pela UEMG e doutorado em Enfermagem, na temática dos cuidados paliativos pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais com sanduíche na Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Lisboa/Portugal. Atualmente é Professor Adjunto III da Universidade Federal de São João Del Rei nos cursos de Enfermagem e Medicina. Fundador e líder do Projeto "Comunidades Compassivas em favelas no Brasil". Membro e pesquisador voluntário do Grupo de Estudo e Pesquisa em Cuidados Paliativos da Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (FIOCRUZ). Autor do livro: Cuidados paliativos na atenção primária à saúde. Membro do Observatório português em cuidados paliativos. Coordenador da temática em cuidados paliativos na Câmara Técnica do Coren-MG.
