Benur de Azevedo Girardi

Associate Professor IV of the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Center of Exact Sciences and Technology, dedicated since 1983 to the university career, about 20 years at the School of Production Engineering from the Federal Center of Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro (CEFET / RJ). Doctor (Ph.D.) in Production Engineering from The City University of London, UK, M.Phil in Applied Statistics from TCU; MSc in Production Engineering from COPPE / UFRJ, Administrator by PUC / RJ and Engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering - IME. He has experience in the areas of Creativity and Innovation, Quality Engineering, Market Research and Statistics as Professor at CEFET / RJ, UNIRIO, UFRJ, FGV, UniverCidade and ESPM, Researcher of CNPq and FAPERJ, Consultant the Center for Intelligence Management (UNIRIO). Exercised posts as directors and executive at CICADE( Cooperative Meat and derivatives ), in ENGESA (Specialized Engineers SA) and the Star Factory where he attended the Technology Transfer of Plant of the Nitroso Josef Meissner GmbH & Co, Köln , Germany. Belongs to the CNPq Research Group at the University-Enterprise Integration area, is a member of the Association of Engineering Education, ABENGE and the Advisory Committee for the Evaluation of the Engineering and Administration INEP / MEC, which integrates also the database of institutional evaluators. Parallel develops Project of the future Cultural Center of Lapa, approved by IRPH.

Professor Associado IV do Centro de Ciências Exatas e da Tecnologia da Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro desde 2001, dedica-se à carreira universitária desde 1983, quando ingressou na Escola de Engenharia de Produção Mecânica do Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do RJ (CEFET/RJ). Doutor (Ph.D.) em Production Engineering pela The City University of London (TCU); Mestre (M. Phil) em Applied Statistics pela TCU; Mestre em Engenharia de Produção pela COPPE/UFRJ; Administrador pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica, PUC/RJ e Engenheiro pelo Instituto Militar de Engenharia, IME. Tem experiência nas áreas de Empreendedorismo, Administração Financeira, Inovação Tecnológica, Engenharia da Qualidade, Estatística dos Negócios como Professor do CEFET/RJ, UNIRIO, UFRJ, FGV, UniverCidade e ESPM. Foi pesquisador do CNPq e da FAPERJ e Consultor do Núcleo de Inteligência em Gestão (UNIRIO). Exerceu cargos diretivos e executivos na CICADE (Cooperativa de Carnes e Derivados), na ENGESA (Engenheiros Especializados SA) e na IMBEL (Fábrica da Estrela) onde participou da Transferência de Tecnologia da Planta de Nitrosos da Josef Meissner GmbH&Co, Köln, Germany. Pertence ao Grupo de Pesquisa do CNPq na área de Integração Universidade-Empresa, é membro da Associação Brasileira de Ensino da Engenharia, ABENGE, do Comitê Avaliador do Congresso Brasileiro de Ensino de Engenharia, COBENGE e do Comitê Assessor do INEP/MEC como Avaliador nas áreas de Engenharia e Administração, onde também integra o Banco de Avaliadores Institucionais. Paralelamente desenvolve projeto do futuro Centro Cultural na Lapa, recentemente aprovado pelo Instituto Rio Patrimônio da Humanidade, IRPH.
