Dolores Puga Alves de Sousa

Dolores Puga is an Adjunct Professor of the History course at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, based on the Três Lagoas Campus (UFMS/CPTL), and a permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Letters (UFMS/CPTL), in the area of Literary Studies, line: Literature and Invention: from the local to the universal. She holds a PhD in Comparative History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in the line Poder e Discurso and has as her current research object the classical Greek theater and the uses of antiquity by contemporaneity in art in general, in Brazilian theater and in cultural practices . She holds a master's degree in Social History from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), in the line Languages, Aesthetics and Hermeneutics and graduated from the same institution. Current editor of the Electronic Magazine Trilhas da História. She is leader of the Uses and Disuses of Artistic Languages Research Group and deputy leader of the Ancient History and Uses of the Past Group: new perspectives between the past and the present. She is a member of ATRIVM / UFMS - Interdisciplinary Space for Antiquity Studies - all groups certified by CNPq. She works on the following themes: contemporary Brazilian theater; classical Greek theater; art, culture and politics.

Dolores Puga é Professora Adjunta do curso de História da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul, lotada no Campus de Três Lagoas (UFMS/CPTL), e docente permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras (UFMS/CPTL), na área de Estudos Literários, linha: Literatura e Invenção: do local ao universal. É Doutora em História Comparada pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) na linha Poder e Discurso e possui como atual objeto de pesquisa o teatro grego clássico e os usos da antiguidade pela contemporaneidade na arte em geral, no teatro brasileiro e em práticas culturais. É mestre em História Social pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), na linha Linguagens, Estética e Hermenêutica e graduada na mesma instituição. Editora atual da Revista Eletrônica Trilhas da História. É líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Usos e Desusos das Linguagens Artísticas e vice-líder do Grupo História Antiga e Usos do Passado: novas perspectivas entre o passado e o presente. É integrante do ATRIVM / UFMS - Espaço Interdisciplinar de Estudos da Antiguidade - todos os grupos atestados no CNPq. Atua sobre os seguintes temas: teatro brasileiro contemporâneo; teatro grego clássico; arte, cultura e política.
