Graduado em Medicina pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPa, 1995), Cirurgião Geral pelo Hospital Adventista Silvestre (HAS, 1998), Cirurgião Oncológico pelo Instituto Nacional de Câncer (INCA, 2001), Mestrado em Gastroenterologia Cirúrgica pelo Instituto de Assistência de Médica dos Servidores Públicos Estaduais/SP (IAMSPE, 2003) e Doutorado em Cirurgia do Aparelho Digestivo pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP, 2009). Atualmente é Cirurgião Oncológico, Hospital do Câncer I (INCA) e Professor de Cirurgia Geral da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Pós-Graduação em Ciência de Dados e Inteligência Artificial -PUC-Rs (2023) e MBA em Data Science & Analytics - USP-ESALQ (2023). Professor Responsável pela Disciplina Eletiva - Oncologia Essencial da UERJ. Coordenador do Curso de Extensão - Oncologia Essencial. Professor homenageado na Universidade Gama Filho (UGF), por duas vezes, ao levar mais de 100 alunos da UGF para apresentações em Congressos Nacionais e Internacionais. Apresenta vocação para pesquisa com dezenas de trabalhos publicados em revistas Nacionais e Internacionais. Fellow of American College of Surgeons, com 06 trabalhos apresentados no Congresso do Colégio Americano de Cirurgiões, sempre com a participação de alunos de Graduação. Realizou Fellowship no Institute Gustave Roussy (Paris-Fr) e no National Cancer Center (Tokyo-Jp). Cirurgião Oncológico da SSO - Society Surgical Oncology - USA. Apresenta experiência na área Oncológica, com ênfase em Cirurgia Gastrointestinal, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Neoplasias do Sistema Digestivo (Câncer Colorretal e Gástrico).
