Luiz Gustavo Oliveira Brito is Associate Professor of the Department of Tocogynecology (DTG) of the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and Full Advisor of the PG Program (grade 7 by CAPES-Medicina III) since 2016. also Professor of the Medicine Course at the University of Ribeirão Preto (UNAERP). He presents a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School at Brigham and Womens Hospital. He did his residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics and completed his Master's, Doctorate and Free Teaching at FMRP-USP, where he was Full Advisor of the PG Program in GO (grade 7 by CAPES-Medicina III) from 2012 to 2019. President of the Brazilian Association of Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor (UROGINAP-BR) for the biennium 2021-2023. Chair of the Publications Committee and Past Chair of the Special Interest Group of Urogynecology and Vaginal Surgery of the American Association for Gynecological Laparoscopists (AAGL). International Advisory Board (IAB) of Latin America and the Caribbean of the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA). Member of the CNE of Urogynecology and Vaginal Surgery at FEBRASGO. He has published 193 articles, 200 abstracts, 18 book chapters and 3 books. Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (RBGO). Social Media Editor of the International Urogynecology Journal. Reviewer of more than 60 international national journals (IUJO, AJOG, BJOG, EJOGRB, UOG, Reproductive Sciences, J Womens Health, FPMRS) and projects of national research funding agencies (FAPESP, CNPq) and has reviewed more than 250 articles for all these magazines. He has participated in more than 150 latu and stricto sensu postgraduate boards to date. His research lines currently deal with the diagnosis/treatment of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding associated with Uterine Leiomyoma, Gynecological Surgery and Dysfunctions in Urogynecology. CNPq Class 2 Research Productivity Scholarship from 2016 to 2022.

Revisor de mais de 60 periódicos nacionais internacionais (IUJO, AJOG, BJOG, EJOGRB, UOG, Reproductive Sciences, J Womens Health, FPMRS) e de projetos de agências nacionais de fomento à pesquisa (FAPESP, CNPq) e já revisou mais de 250 artigos para todas essas revistas. Participou de mais de 150 bancas de pós-graduação latu e stricto sensu até o momento. Suas linhas de pesquisa versam atualmente sobre o diagnóstico/tratamento do Sangramento Uterino Anormal associado ao Leiomioma Uterino, Cirurgia Ginecológica e das Disfunções em Uroginecologia. Bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa Classe 2 do CNPq de 2016 a 2022.
