Arturo Frick Carpes

Degree in Medicine from the Catholic University of Pelotas (1997-2002). Medical Residency in Otorhinolaryngology at Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Nucleus of São Paulo (2004-2008). Specialization in Sleep Medicine at Sleep Institute / AFIP-UNIFESP (2007-2009). Certification in Sleep Medicine by the Brazilian Sleep Association in 2009 and by the Brazilian Medical Association in 2012. Internship in Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery at Clinica Reabilita Face (2008). Certification in Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery by the Brazilian Medical Association and ABCCMF in 2009. Fellowship in Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at the Division of Plastic Surgery of HC-FMUSP (2009-2010). PhD in Sciences at University of São Paulo Hospital-FMUSP and Craniofacial Anomalies Rehabilitation Hospital, HRAC-Bauru, (2010-2015). Has experience in Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery, acting on the following subjects: sleep apneia, polysomnography, and craniofacial disorders. Among other complements to the training, Dr. Carpes held Fellowships at Stanford University, and at the College of Dentistry of Birmingham in the United States. Internships at Ivo Pitanguy Clinic and Santa Casa and Souza Aguiar Emergency Hospital in Rio de Janeiro. Germany, Portugal, Lithuania, Canada were also sites for national and international courses. Currently maintains scientific production with publications of articles, book chapters, lectures and courses, as well as engaged in otorhinolaryngology residency program at Beneficência Portuguesa Hospital. Dr. Carpes develope his private practice in Moema. At the site, patients can count on competent multidisciplinary team that guarantees complete and humanized, evidence-based and committed to ethics care. Surgeries are held in São Paulo city hospitals, such as Albert Eisten, São Camilo, Oswaldo Cruz, Sírio Libanês, and São Luiz.
