He graduated in Forestry from the Federal University of Viçosa (2000) and Ph.D. in Forest Science from Federal University of Viçosa (2005). He is currently a Researcher of the National Research Center for Dairy Cattle - CNPGL (Embrapa Dairy Cattle) acting on the following themes: Systems Prototyping, integrated crop-livestock-forestry systems, agroforestry..

Possui graduação em Engenharia Florestal pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2000) e doutorado em Ciência Florestal pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2005). Atualmente é Pesquisador A do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Gado de Leite - CNPGL (Embrapa Gado de Leite) atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: prototipagem de sistemas, integração lavoura-pecuária-floresta, agrossilvicultura.
