Vivian Martins Lopes de Souza

Doutora em Educação pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), com período de doutorado-sanduíche na The Ohio State University (EUA) financiado pelo Programa Insitucional de Internacionalização da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES-PRINT). Possui mestrado em Educação pela UERJ, especialização em Planejamento, Implementação e Gestão da Educação a Distância pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), MBA em Gestão de Recursos Humanos pela UFF, Licenciatura e Bacharelado em Pedagogia pela UERJ. Professora de Educação a Distância e Tecnologias Educacionais do Instituto Federal do Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ). Autora dos livros Formação de docentes para a educação online e Vídeos na Educação Online. Membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Docência e Cibercultura (UFRRJ), do Grupo de pesquisa Território, Cultura e Identidade (IFRJ) e do grupo Literacia visual: pesquisa, ensino e formação docente em Artes (INES). Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em educação e cibercultura, pesquisa e prática pedagógica, formação de professores, educação online e tecnologias educacionais. She received both a BA in Pedagogy and a MA in Education from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, and in 2011 she completed her MBA in Human Resource Management from the Federal Fluminense University. She specializes in planning, implementation and management of distance education. She is currently a professor of Distance Education and Educational Technologies of the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ). At IFRJ she is a member of the Territory, Culture and Identity research group and the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Culture, Identity and Diversity. She is a member of the Teaching and Cyberculture research group at UFRRJ. Her areas of professional expertise are online education, education & cyberculture, and educational technologies. She has been working with these areas for the past ten years.
