Dânia Maria de Castro Moreira

Architect and visual artist. Holds a Master of Architecture - PROPAR / UFRGS (2003), Specialization in Interior Architecture - Uniritter (2000), Bachelor of Visual Arts - Painting Habilitation (2006) and Habilitation in History, Theory and Art Criticism (2010) at the Institute of Arts / UFRGS, and graduation in Architecture and Urbanism - UFRGS (1985). She was a substitute professor in the Department of Design and Grafic Expression - Faculty of Architecture - UFRGS and was assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture UNISC. Also worked in management of Museums, as Director of Museu do Inter, Director of the Division of Museums and Historical Archive of FECI and alternate member of the Sectorial Collegiate of the Museums of RS. Today, works as an architect, artist, curator and independent researcher in Atelier D MOREIRA ARCHITECTURE and VISUAL ARTS. Participates in the current management of the Association of Plastic Artists Francisco Lisboa, as director at Cultural Department . Is a component of CAAS - Archdiocesan Commission of Sacred Art - Porto Alegre RS.

Arquiteta e artista visual. Possui Mestrado em Arquitetura - PROPAR / UFRGS (2003), Especialização em Arquitetura de Interiores - Uniritter (2000), Bacharelado em Artes Visuais - Habilitação Pintura (2006) e Habilitação em História, Teoria e Crítica de Arte (2010) no Instituto de Artes / UFRGS, e graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo - FAU / UFRGS (1985). Foi professora substituta no Departamento de Design e Expressão Gráica - Faculdade de Arquitetura - UFRGS e professora assistente na Faculdade de Arquitetura da UNISC. Atuou também na área de gestão de Museus, como Diretora do Museu do Inter, Diretora da Divisão de Museu e Arquivo Histórico da FECI e membro suplente do Colegiado Setorial de Museus do RS. Atualmente desenvolve suas atividades como arquiteta, artista, curadora e pesquisadora independente no Atelier D MOREIRA ARQ E ARTES VISUAIS. Participa da atual gestão da Associação Riograndense de Artistas Plásticos Francisco Lisboa, como diretora no Departamento Cultural. É componente da CAAS - Comissão Arquidiocesana de Arte Sacra - Porto Alegre RS.
