Silvana Schimanski

Docente e pesquisadora da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), no curso de Bacharelado em Relações Internacionais e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência Política. Doutora em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade de Brasília - UNB (Bolsista CNPq), na modalidade Doutorado Sanduíche com o Instituto de Altos Estudos Internacionais e do Desenvolvimento, em Genebra-Suiça. (Institut de Hautes Études Internationales et du Développement - IHEID) (Bolsista Capes). Mestre em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (Bolsista CAPES). Graduada em Administração com Habilitação em Comércio Exterior, pela Universidade do Vale do Itajaí - UNIVALI. Membro da Associação Brasileira de Relações Internacionais (ABRI), da Associação Latino-Americana de Ciência Política (Alacip) e da International Studies Association (ISA). Realizou estágio doutoral na Organização Mundial do Comércio; na Missão do Brasil junto à Organização Mundial do Comércio e outras organizações econômicas; atuou como assistente de Pesquisa na Organização das Nações Unidas para Comércio e Desenvolvimento (UNCTAD); Fellow da 50a Sessão do Seminário de Direito Internacional, no âmbito da Comissão de Direito Internacional da ONU; foi membro da Comissão Especial da Agência de Desenvolvimento da Lagoa Mirim (ALM-UFPel), na área de governança transfronteiriça e relações internacionais. Coordena o Genint (Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Negociações Internacionais-CNPq). Pesquisadora associada ao InterAgency Institute (https://www.interagency.institute/) e à Rede Latinoamericana em Geopolítica e Estratégia (https://relage.org/). Ênfase das pesquisas em Relações Internacionais (Multilaterais, Bilaterais e Regionais),Instituições e Regimes Internacionais, Negociações Internacionais, Organização Mundial do Comércio, Política Comercial e Comércio e Desenvolvimento. Graduated in Business Administration with a major in Foreign Trade at the University of Vale do Itajaí - UNIVALI. Member of the Brazilian International Relations Association (ABRI), the Latin American Political Science Association (Alacip) and the International Studies Association (ISA). Doctoral Fellow at the World Trade Organization; at the Brazilian Mission to the World Trade Organization and other economic organizations; worked as a Research Assistant at the United Nations Trade and Development Organization (UNCTAD); Fellow of the 50th Session of the International Law Seminar, under the UN International Law Commission; was a member of the Special Commission of the Lagoa Mirim Development Agency (ALM-UFPel), in the area of cross-border governance and international relations.
