Andréa Teixeira Dias

Andréa Teixeira Dias graduated in Full Degree in Geography from the School of Teacher Education at the State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ (2005). Holds a BA in Geography (2009) and MBA (sensu lato) in Territorial Policies in the State of Rio de Janeiro (2008) and currently is Student in Geography - area of ​​concentration in Management and Structuring of Geographical Space Institute of Geography UERJ . And started on his career as an intern in the Department of Mineral Resources of the State of Rio de Janeiro, the Getulio Vargas Foundation, the Department of Urban Planning Department of Planning and Urban Control of the City of Niterói. Was also voluntary intern at Municipal Coordination of Civil Defense of São Gonçalo. Later, he served as the Technical Secretariat of the Town Planning Department of Planning and Urban Control and the Center for Urban and Land Regularization of the Municipality of Niterói. Besides having provided services in Management Planning Planning and Projects Coordinator of the Municipal Housing Secretariat of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro City. And, currently, I advise Analyst GIS by UN-HABITAT, supporting the production and maintenance of databases and georeferenced information on Rio + Social program.

Andréa Teixeira Dias possui Licenciatura Plena em Geografia pela Faculdade de Formação de Professores da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - UERJ (2005). Possui Bacharelado em Geografia (2009) e Pós graduação (lato sensu) em Políticas Territoriais no Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2008) e, atualmente é Mestre em Geografia - área de concentração em Gestão e Estruturação do Espaço Geográfico do Instituto de Geografia da UERJ.Deu início em sua trajetória profissional como estagiária no Departamento de Recursos Minerais do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (DRM-RJ), assim como na Fundação Getúlio Vargas e, também no Departamento de Urbanismo da Secretaria de Urbanismo e Controle Urbano da Prefeitura Municipal de Niterói. Foi estagiária voluntária na Coordenadoria Municipal de Defesa Civil de São Gonçalo. Posteriormente, atuou como técnica no Departamento de Urbanismo da Secretaria de Urbanismo e Controle Urbano e no Núcleo de Regularização Urbanística e Fundiária da Prefeitura Municipal de Niterói. Além de ter prestado serviços na Gerência de Planejamento da Coordenadoria de Planejamento e Projetos da Secretaria Municipal de Habitação da Prefeitura da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro. E, consultoria como Analista de Geoprocessamento pela ONU-HABITAT, apoiando a produção e manutenção de bases de dados e informações georreferenciadas no programa Rio+Social.
