Maurizio Esposito is interested in the history and philosophy of biology. He has published a monograph on the history of organismal biology and various articles exploring the relation between the life sciences and society. He is also interested in the epistemology of natural science and the connections across scientific practices, epistemic values and theories. He has previously worked at UNAM (Mexico) and at the Univesrity of Santiago (USACH) after he obtained a PhD from the University of Leeds (UK) in 2012. He is a faculty member in Center of Natural and HUman Sciences, at Federal University of ABC
