Post-doctor in Energy and Climate at the Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden, 2009); PhD in Society Administration (UFPE 2012) in the area of Energy Source Management; PhD and Master in Industrial Engineering (UFPB, 2004, 1998) in the area of Electrical Sector Organization and Electrical Engineer (UFCG 1985). He is a professor and researcher linked to Postgraduate in Production Engineering at UFPB, in the areas of Energy Management and Sustainability. He has an Universal Project (CNPq) that analyzes the correlation between "Knowledge" and "Sustainability", and a major project with the Paraíba-Brazil Rural Electrification Cooperatives analyzing the actions of the Brazilian Energy Agency. He has coordinated more than 20 academic projects. In the professional area was between 1986 and 1994 the coordinator responsible for the assembly of 12 generators of Itaipu Binacional managing 400 men (12 million euros); In 1996 he was coordinator of electrical duplication of the embarkation line of the Vale do Rio Doce Company in São Luis (400 thousand euro) and between 1998 and 2002 he was the Engineering Director of the Paraíba State Institute, where he coordinated a team. of 26 engineers in the construction of the Benjamim Maranhão District with 5000 popular houses (management of approximately 4.5 million euros).
Pós-doutor em Engenharia Industrial na área da Sociedade 5.0 (2020 - Universidade Beira Interior - Portugal); Pós Doutor Energia e Clima (2009 - Royal Institute of Technology - Suécia); Doutor em Administração da Sociedade (UFPE 2012); Doutor e Mestre em Engenharia da Produção (UFPB, 2004, 1998) em organização do setor elétrico e na sustentabilidade de fontes de energia; Engenheiro Elétrico (UFCG,1986); Bacharel em Teologia (2020 - Faculdade Teológica Sulamericana). Já coordenou mais de 20 projetos de pesquisa acadêmica, publicou mais de 200 artigos científicos e capítulos de livros, orientou mais de 150 monografias de TCC, dissertações e teses. Como engenheiro foi coordenador da montagem de 12 dos 20 geradores da Itaipu Binacional (1986 a 1994) em Foz do Iguaçu Paraná Brasil; Em 1996 foi coordenador da duplicação da linha de embarque da CVRD no porto de Itaqui - São Luis e entre 1998 e 2002 foi diretor de Engenharia do Instituto de Previdência do Estado da Paraíba.
