Eduardo de Souza de Oliveira

Master in Image and Sound from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar); Bachelor and Licensed in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP); researcher in the field of documentary and archival footage; filmmaker, teacher, producer and art educator. He taught audiovisual courses and workshops for film festivals and for institutions such as Casa Guilherme de Almeida, São Paulo Municipal Secretary of Culture, SESC / SP and SENAC / SP. He directed documentaries that were selected by several festivals and exhibitions. Winner of the best film award by the Popular Jury of the Cine São Francisco Show - 4th Curta Caicó (2021), winner of the awards for Best Documentary Film, Best Documentary Script and Best Film by the Popular Jury at the National Panorama Show by the V Cine Paraíso - Festival Juripiranga Film Festival (2022) and winner of the Best Documentary award at the Tainha Dourada National University Film Festival (2022). He was part of the jury of the Lanterna Mágica Show, part of the festival Arquivo em Cartaz (2021).

Mestre em Imagem e Som pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar); bacharel e licenciado em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP); pesquisador da área de documentário e imagens de arquivo; cineasta, professor, produtor e arte-educador. Ministrou cursos e oficinas de audiovisual para festivais de cinema como a Mostra de Cinema de Ouro Preto, Festival Internacional de Cinema e Vídeo Ambiental (FICA) e Festival de Inverno da UFSJ, e para instituições culturais/educacionais como a Casa Guilherme de Almeida, Secretaria de Cultura do município de São Paulo, SESC/SP e SENAC/SP. Dirigiu documentários que foram selecionados por diversos festivais e mostras. Vencedor do prêmio de melhor filme pelo Júri Popular da Mostra Cine São Francisco - 4 Curta Caicó (2021), vencedor dos prêmios de Melhor Filme Documentário, Melhor Roteiro de Documentário e Melhor Filme pelo Júri Popular na Mostra Panorama Nacional pelo V Cine Paraíso - Festival de Cinema de Juripiranga (2022) e vencedor do prêmio de Melhor Documentário no Festival Nacional de Cinema Universitário Tainha Dourada (2022). Integrou o júri da Mostra Lanterna Mágica, mostra integrante do festival Arquivo em Cartaz (2021).
