Graduated in Chemistry Degree, Specialization in Environment and Aquatic Resources from the State University of Maranhão - UEMA, Master and Doctorate in Nanoscience and Nanobiotechnology from the University of Brasília - UnB. He has experience in the area of ​​Chemistry and Nanotechnology, with an emphasis on nanoparticles based on natural products, acting mainly on the following themes: vegetable oil technology, polyunsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, colloidal systems, lipid nanoformulations and nanoemulsions for oral administration. He has experience in the area of ​​Environment and Aquatic Resources, physical-chemical and microbiological characterization of groundwater and chemical characterization of soils. He has experience in the area of ​​Biochemistry and inflammatory mediators, with emphasis on the metabolism of essential fatty acids, DHA, EPA, AA, inflammation models. He has experience in the area of ​​Science and Education, with an emphasis on the development of materials and resources for teaching Chemistry and Nanotechnology, Popularization of Science and Scientific Dissemination. She is currently a professor and researcher working on initiatives within the CTSA approach with a focus on Science, Nanotechnology, Education & Culture.

She has experience in research with inflammatory mediators, with an emphasis on the metabolism of essential fatty acids, DHA, EPA, AA, inflammation models. She has experience in the area of ​​Science and Education, with an emphasis on the development of teaching materials and resources for teaching Science, Chemistry and Nanotechnology, Popularization and Scientific Divulgation. She has already carried out research in the area of ​​Environment and Aquatic Resources, physical-chemical and microbiological characterization of groundwater and chemical characterization of soils. It works in initiatives within the CTSA approach in the areas Exact and Natural Sciences, Nanotechnology, Health, Education & Culture.
