Professor do Departamento de Ciências Administrativas (DCAd) da Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). Professor do Programa de Pós-graduação em Gestão e Estratégia. Membro do Centro de Estudos Avançados da UFRRJ, do Comitê Técnico da Agência de Inovação e do Programa de bolsas de Iniciação a Inovação. Economista com mestrado e doutorado em engenharia de produção, atua há vinte anos em atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão em temas relacionados à inovação e ao empreendedorismo. Pós doutorado no Departamento de Ciências Sociais, Políticas e do Território da Universidade de Aveiro em Portugal, Pós doutorado no Research Policy Institute da Universidade de Lund na Suécia (Bolsista CAPES), pesquisador visitante na Universidade de Havana em Cuba (Bolsista CAPES). Aluno da academia Globelics de doutorado na Universidade de Tampere na Finlândia (Bolsa concedida pelo governo da Finlândia). Membro do National Advisory Council - NACI, ligado do Department of Science and Techonology do governo da África do Sul (2017 - 2018). Membro do conselho consultivo do Plano Nacional de Empreendedorismo desenvolvido pela secretaria nacional da Juventude em 2017. Membro do conselho científico da conferência nacional da ANPROTEC de 2017 até a presente data. Foi assessor técnico da Presidência (2015 - 2016) e Diretoria de Tecnologia e Inovação da FAPERJ (2016-2018). Foi diretor da Agência de Inovação da Universidade Federal Fluminense (2015 - 2017). Foi coordenador adjunto do Centro de Estudos Avançados da UFRRJ (2018-2019). Pesquisador associado do Laboratório de Inovação Tecnológica, Organizacional e em Serviços - LabrInTOS/COPPE, da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Pesquisador associado do Triple Helix Research Group Brazil da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Coordenador do Núcleo de Estudos sobre Inovação - NEIN, vinculado à UFRRJ.
