Jean Felipe Leal Silva

Engenheiro Químico graduado e com mestrado pela UNICAMP. Atualmente é doutorando na Faculdade de Engenharia Química da UNICAMP (bolsista FAPESP), onde estuda o desenvolvimento de baterias lítio-ar. Sua linha de pesquisa é em energias renováveis. No mestrado, trabalhou com o desenvolvimento de biorefinarias, e no doutorado está trabalhando com sistemas de armazenamento avançado de energia. Possui ampla experiência com pesquisa: quatro Iniciações Científicas Jr na área de matemática durante os ensinos fundamental e médio, duas Iniciações Científicas durante a graduação em Engenharia Química, um estágio de 11 meses em R&D na Desmet Ballestra (Bélgica) e um estágio de um ano em engenharia e simulação de processos no CTBE/CNPEM, trabalhando em projeto em parceria com a Embrapa Agroenergia. Foi bolsista do CNPq durante intercâmbio na KU Leuven, Bélgica, estudando o programa "Master of Chemical Engineering".

PhD student at the School of Chemical Engineering of the University of Campinas (FAPESP fellowship). He received his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the same school. In his MS, he worked in the development, simulation, and technoeconomic analysis of biorefineries, and in his PhD he is working with advanced energy storage systems. Other experiences include: four years of Junior Research on Mathematics (UFMG in Belo Horizonte and Unimontes in Montes Claros, both in Brazil), two years of Undergraduate Research (UNICAMP in Campinas, Brazil), eleven months working with R&D at Desmet Ballestra (Zaventem, Belgium) and one year working as an intern of Process Engineering and Process Simulation at the Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Lab (Campinas, Brazil). Completed one year of the Master of Chemical Engineering at KU LEUVEN (Leuven, Belgium) as an exchange student, holding a scholarship of the Science Without Borders program (CNPq, Brazil).
