Engenheiro Florestal, com Mestrado e Doutorado em Ciências Florestais, ambos pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE). Possui experiência nas áreas de Ecologia, Energia de Biomassa, Inventário e censo Florestal, levantamentos florísticos e fitossociológicos, revegetação e compensação florestal, práticas de viveiro, licenciamento ambiental, entre outras.

Has experience in Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, acting on the following subjects: floresta atlântica, melastomataceae, fragmentation, natural regeneration mechanism and floresta tropical.
