Maria Aparecida da Cruz Bejatto

Agronomy Engineering degree from the State University of Northern Paraná (UENP), with exchange program at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, USA (2013-2014). Master?s degree (2018) and PhD (2022) in Agronomy with emphasis on Plant science/Horticulture/Fruit production, by the State University of Londrina (UEL), in partnership with the Institute of Rural Development of Paraná- Iapar-Emater (IDR-Paraná) and exchange program at the United States Department of Agriculture, US Horticultural Research Laboratory, ARS (USDA-ARS), Fort Pierce, FL (2019-2021). I have experience in agronomy, plant science and horticulture, working mainly on the following topics: propagation of fruit plants, management and cultural practices in citrus, selection of scion cultivars and citrus rootstocks, physical-chemical, biochemical and sensorial analysis of fruits, postharvest management of fruits and physiological analysis of seeds. I am currently working as a professor at the University North of Paraná - UNOPAR, in Londrina-PR, Brazil.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade Estadual do Norte do Paraná (UENP) com período sanduiche na University of Kentucky. Mestre (2018) e doutora (2022) em Agronomia com ênfase em Fitotecnia/Horticultura/Fruticultura, pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL), em parceria com o Instituto de Desenvolvimento Rural do Paraná- Iapar-Emater (IDR-Paraná) e período sanduíche no United States Department of Agriculture, US Horticultural Research Laboratory, ARS (USDA-ARS), Fort Pierce, FL (2019-2021). Tem experiência na área de agronomia, fitotecnia, fitopatologia e horticultura, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: propagação de plantas frutíferas, manejo e tratos culturais em citros, seleção de cultivares copa e porta-enxertos de citros, análise de doenças em citros, análise fisico-química, bioquímica e sensorial de frutos, manejo pós-colheita de frutos e análise fisiológica de sementes. Atualmente é docente no curso de Agronomia da Universidade UNOPAR- Anhanguera, em Londrina-PR.
