Gilber Gustavo de Almeida

Graduado em Física-Licenciatura pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa - Campus Florestal-MG (UFV). Tem experiência na área de Astrofísica do Meio Interestelar, estudou estrutura estelar e modelos de estrutura interna para estrelas de baixa massa. Bolsista do PIBID em 2011 e Monitor Nível 1 no Ensino Médio Federal - Campus Florestal-MG em 2015. Mestre em Física da Matéria Condensada em 2018 pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - Campus Curitiba-PR (UTFPR), desenvolvendo um sistema de monitoramento de nível dos rios utilizando um sensor ótico, denominado Rede de Bragg (FBG), embebido em um material com um comportamento elástico. Atualmente é doutorando em Física na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), atuando no Laboratory of Quantum Properties of Solids - LaPQuantS.

Currently, he is a PhD student in Elementary Particle Physics, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), working on Non-Elastic Contributions Research (dissociation of the proton) using the CMS front-end detector at CERN-LHC. by Professor Gustavo Gil da Silveira.
