Diego Arruda Huggins de Sá Leitão

Doctor in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), with participation in the Sandwich Doctorate Program from CAPES under the supervision of Dr. Donald Dickson at the University of Florida for 9 months. Master in Agricultural Engineering in 2015 and majored in Agricultural and Environmental Engineer in 2013 at the same institution. I have experience in Agricultural Engineering, with emphasis on Environmental Monitoring and Recovery of Agricultural Soils and Degraded Areas and Plant Nematology. I have participated in a Scientific Initiation Program / Foundation for Science and Technology Support of the State of Pernambuco (PIBIC / FACEPE) for two years (2009 to 2011) and also participated in a Program of Scientific Initiation by UFRPE for six months (2011 to 2012 ), focusing on the two areas mentioned above. In addition, I have participated in a university exchange program promoted by CAPES at Appalachian State University, NC / USA for 5 months, attending classes on sustainable development.

Doutor em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE), com participação no Programa de Doutorado Sanduíche no Exterior da CAPES, sob a supervisão do Dr. Donald Dickson na Universidade da Flórida durante 9 meses. Mestre em Engenharia Agrícola no ano de 2015 e graduado em Engenheiro Agrícola e Ambiental no ano de 2013 pela mesma instituição. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Agrícola, com ênfase em Monitoramento Ambiental e Recuperação de Solos Agrícolas e Áreas Degradadas e Fitonematologia. Participou de Programa de Iniciação Científica/Fundação de Amparo à Ciência e Tecnologia do Estado de Pernambuco (PIBIC/FACEPE) por dois anos (2009 a 2011) e, ainda, participou de Programa de Iniciação Científica pela UFRPE por seis meses (2011 a 2012), tendo como foco as duas áreas supracitadas. Além disso, fez intercâmbio universitário fomentado pela CAPES na Appalachian State University, NC/EUA por 5 meses, assistindo aulas sobre desenvolvimento sustentável.
