Maria Juliana de Jesus Santos

Possui mestrado em Estudos Literários (2019) e licenciatura em Letras Português (2016) pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS). Tem experiência na área de Literatura Brasileira, especificamente nas subáreas Literatura Brasileira Feminista e Literatura Brasileira Contemporânea. Durante a graduação, dedicou-se, sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Carlos Magno Gomes (PPGL/UFS), à observação do modo como o corpo feminino é retratado em contos de Marina Colasanti e à observação das formas da violência de gênero retratadas em obras de Patrícia Melo, Nélida Piñon e Marina Colasanti. Em 2015, participou do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (Pibid). Atualmente, dedica-se ao estudo de obras literárias (especificamente romances e contos) de autoria feminina que retratam diferentes tipos de violência contra a mulher. Interessa-se pelos seguintes temas: corpo feminino, violência de gênero, patriarcado, autoria feminina e feminismo

She holds a master's degree in Literary Studies (2019) and a degree in Portuguese Literature (2016) from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). She has experience in the area of ​​Brazilian Literature, specifically in the sub-areas Brazilian Feminist Literature and Contemporary Brazilian Literature. During graduation, she dedicated herself, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Carlos Magno Gomes (PPGL / UFS), observing the way the female body is portrayed in Marina Colasanti's short stories and observing the forms of gender violence portrayed in works by Patrícia Melo, Nélida Piñon and Marina Colasanti. Currently, she is dedicated to the study of literary works (specifically novels and short stories) of female authors that portray different types of violence against women.
