Cristina Leite

Licenciada em Física, mestre em Ensino de Ciências e doutora em Educação. Docente do IFUSP, orientadora no Programa Interunidades de Ensino de Ciências (USP) e coordenadora da Licenciatura em Física da USP (2018-2023). Participou da equipe de redação da BNCC de Ciências da Natureza (2016-2018) e foi agraciada, pela Ordem Nacional do Mérito Educativo com o grau: Cavaleiro da Ordem, pelas contribuições na educação. Integrou a Comissão de Área de Pesquisa em Ensino de Física da SBF (2017-2021). Colaboradora junto à Cátedra de Educação Básica da USP no IEA na proposta vencedora do Edital 35 do MEC (2021) para a construção de uma Licenciatura Interdisciplinar em Ciências na USP. Pesquisadora no Projeto Temático (FAPESP, 2023) que investiga a implementação de Inovações Curriculares, Estratégias Pedagógicas e Tecnologias Emergentes para Qualidade-Equidade na Educação Básica. Pesquisadora no Programa Eixos Temáticos (Educação) da USP (2022-atual) e integrante dos GTs da reitoria da USP: Ensino Médio (2023) e Fuvest (2019 e 2023).

Professor at the Physics Institute at USP in the area of Physics Teaching since 2008. Advisor of the Interunits Postgraduate Program in Science Teaching at USP, since 2009. She has a degree in Physics from USP (1998), Master in Science Teaching from USP (2002) and PhD in Education from USP (2006). She was a teacher in public and private schools in São Paulo (1994-2008) and in the Federal Institute of São Paulo (2006 and 2007). She was part of the team of authors of the Science Curricular Proposal of the Education Secretary of the State of São Paulo (2008). Author of the National Common Core Curriculum of Natural Sciences for Elementary and Secondary Education (2016-2018). She was part of the Research Area Committee on Physics Teaching of SBF (2017-2021). She is currently the coordinator of the Physics Undergraduate Program at USP. Awarded in 2018, by the National Order of Educational Merit with the degree: Knight of the Order, for contributions in education. She is part of the thematic axis Education at USP and of the WGs High School and Fuvest.
