Daniel Henrique Pohren

Electronic Technician from the Cristo Redentor College in 1986, received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Lutheran University of Brazil in 2014, and the MSc in Electrical Engineering by Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, in 2020. He is currently working toward the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, UFRGS, Porto Alegre, Brazil. He is a Member of Research Group in Control, Automation and Robotics ? GCAR. His research area includes automation, communication protocols, and embedded systems. He is currently Technical Director of DHP Engenharia EIRELI, a company focused on the design of industrial and building automation systems, as well as providing technical consulting in the areas of Electrical Engineering and electronic systems. He has experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Electronic Automation of Electrical and Industrial Processes, management of electronic security systems and building systems projects. He has extensive experience in the management of projects and installations, as well as in the management of multidisciplinary teams. He was a managing partner at BRS electronics systems industry from 2006 to 2013, where he was responsible for the creation of several products, including dedicated and programmable controllers, still commercialized today. With extensive experience in the area of ​​electronic products elaboration, from the conceptual design, through the selection of components and finalizing in the elaboration of schematic diagrams, elaboration and manufacture of printed circuit boards (PCB), final internal and external assembly, elaboration of firmware application and gig tests for production. MBA in software engineering. Phd student in the area of ​​automation and control in the post graduate program in electrical engineering (PPGEE - UFRGS) and member of the control, automation and robotics group (GCAR - UFRGS). Técnico em Eletrônica pelo Colégio Cristo Redentor em 1986, graduado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Luterana do Brasil (2014) e mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (2019), atualmente é doutorando na área de Engenharia Elétrica da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em Automação Eletrônica de Processos Elétricos e Industriais, gestão de sistemas de segurança eletrônica e projetos de sistemas prediais. Possui larga experiência na gestão de projetos e de instalações, bem como na gestão de equipes multidisciplinares. Foi sócio gerente na BRS industria de sistemas eletrônicos no período entre 2006 à 2013, onde foi responsável pelo conceito de vários produtos, entre eles controladores eletrônicos microprocessados, dedicados e programáveis, largamente comercializados. Com larga experiência na área de elaboração de produtos eletrônicos, desde o projeto conceitual, passando pela seleção de componentes e finalizando na elaboração de diagramas esquemáticos, elaboração e fabricação de placas de circuitos impressos (PCB), montagem final interna e externa, elaboração de firmware aplicativo e giga de testes para produção. MBA em engenharia de software concluído em 2021. Doutorando na área de automação e controle no programa de pós graduação em engenharia elétrica (PPGEE - UFRGS) e integrante do grupo de controle, automação e robótica (GCAR - UFRGS). Membro da ASHRAE (Sociedade Americana de Engenheiros de Aquecimento, Refrigeração, Ar Condicionado e Controle) e do IEEE.
